 hristie was painting furniture for friends and neighbors fourteen years ago, when with her
enthusiasm for capturing the beauty of roses, and the inspiration of her Grandmother, her talent took a romantic twist.
She began painting oil portraits of roses and her talent and passion have been blossoming ever since. Christie loves
painting roses because of the way they make her feel and says, "Capturing their delicateness on canvas is the essence
of what I do and why I do it". Christie gathers her ideas by trusting her personal instincts, then paints what she
