THIS IS A FABULOUS OLD VINTAGE BARBOLA GESSO PICTURE FRAME WITH WONDERFUL ORNATE DETAILING ALL AROUND THAT IS WHITE WITH GOLD HIGHLIGHTS. This is wood, and barbola gesso for the detailing. There are pieces of the gesso that is missing on the side and a little in the corners, as I show, which gives it the great look, in my opinion. It has the old original white and gold paint. There is paint loss, chippy paint, old surface hairline cracks and some missing detailing on the frame, but it is solid. It can be displayed vertically or horizontally. There is no glass. Perfect in your shabby chic, French country or romantic cottage decor. Measurements are about 15 3/4" by 27 1/2" for the outside. The opening is about 10" by 22".
