THIS IS A FABULOUS OLD FRENCH CAST IRON METAL DOUBLE BALANCE SCALE WITH A GREAT LOOK. This is an amazing find! It has the white enamel over the cast iron on the nice long slender base and the moving metal holder in a rusty metal. It has the two brass pans, with dings, discoloration, stains and wear. The white enamel has paint loss, scratches, some stains, minor dirt, a little rust and wear. I can't make out the lettering. Perfect scale for display in your home! Measurements are about 10" tall to the top of the deep pan when balanced by 19" long and 4 1/4" deep at the base. With the pans on top it is about 9" deep. It weighs about 12 pounds. This would be fabulous in any shabby chic, Farm House, Jeanne d Arc Living, romantic cottage or French Country home.
