THIS IS A GORGEOUS OLD VINTAGE BARBOLA GESSO PICTURE FRAME WITH THE ORIGINAL FRENCH PRINT IN IT.. This is wood, and barbola gesso for the detailing. It has a bow at the top with garlands or swags that go over the glass. PLEASE NOTE THE CONDITION OF THE DETAILING IN MY CLOSE UPS. THERE IS MISSING DETAILING ON THE BOW AND ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FRAME AT THE TOP. THERE IS ALSO SOME OLD HAIRLINE SURFACE CRACKS, CHIPPY PAINT AND WEAR. It is covered with glass. It has the original old French print with a romantic man and woman in the garden. The back has a hand written note that titles it, "The Evening Walk" Perfect in your shabby chic, French country or romantic cottage decor. Measurements are about 21 1/2" by 15 1/2" for the outside. .
