OH MY GOSH! THIS IS ABSOLUTELY DROP DEAD GORGEOUS! THIS IS AN OLD FRENCH BABY CRIB HEADBOARD OR FOOTBOARD WITH TWO SLEEPING CHILDREN AND AN ANGEL WATCHING OVER THEM. This is an older French baby crib footboard that is metal and has the cast iron ornate header at the center top. At the center, the boy and girl are sleeping and the angel with large wings is watching over them. In the four corners are precious cherubs or angels with garlands, roses and flowers. It has the original creamy white paint. The paint is chippy with paint loss, a little rust, some scratches, wear and an amazing time worn patina. I have had this piece for many years, but I already have one in my bedroom, sitting on the floor as a background piece, and don't have room for a second one. I had this one hanging in my dining room at one time. I show in the background, where I have a crib headboard, just standing on the floor and leaning against the fall as a background piece. A hanger was added to the back. You could hang this on your wall to make a statement, use as a fireplace screen, or set on the floor.. What a perfect way to add a pop of color to an all white room!! Measurements are about 50" tall by 28" wide. It weighs about 15 pounds.
