HIS IS AN AMAZING OLD ANTIQUE QUILT WITH GREAT COLORS THAT IS SIGNED AND DATED 1921 WITH 1,886 PIECES. What a great old quilt in gorgeous colors. I can't think of the name of this quilt, but the pattern and colors are gorgeous. It has a red border and behind the border is another border with a gorgeous fabric that has roses! What I love, is the hand stitched embroidery that says, "Pieced by Mrs (can't make out her name), 1921, 80 Years Old, 1886 Pieces". I love that she took the time to do this and count the pieces. I did not count the pieces, but assuming she is correct. It is a medium weight with a medium cotton batting in between. There are a couple stains, as I show. There is a little hole, as I show, which, is more visible from the back. It is is good condition otherwise and no offensive odors. This would be beautiful in any cottage chic, French country, Americana, Farm House or shabby chic decor. It would be nice over a banister, an old wicker chair, on a bed or just displayed on a wall. Measurements are about 89" by 70".
