THIS IS AN AMAZING OLD ANTIQUE VINTAGE OIL PAINTING WITH A HERD OF ABOUT 25 SHEEP AND A SHEEPDOG IN A STUNNING COUNTRY FARM SCENE. This is very well painted The colors are just gorgeous to fit in any décor. It is painted on an board. Sheep paintings are always so popular, and they seem hard to find. I wish I had a spot for this one. There is water, trees, the herd of sheep, the guarding sheepdog, a herring in the water, a bird in the sky and more. There is paint loss, minor scratches, and minor wear as I show. There are a couple shallow small gouges to the painting, as I show. It is signed what looks like L.W. Aldrich. It is framed in the original frame with the old gold paint that is a little chippy with paint loss and wear. This would be stunning in any shabby chic, Farm House, romantic cottage or French Country home. Measurements are about 26" by 15" for the frame.
