THIS IS A STUNNING QUILT WITH A NICE PATTERN IN THE POPULAR RED WHITE AND BLUE COLORS. This is hand stitched with pretty fabrics. It is a medium weight with a medium cotton batting in between. It does have wear and stains. There are some stains, some fading, some tears or where the fabric has frayed and you can see the batting, minor dirt and wear, as I show with a penny for size comparison in some areas. I did not wash it, so it could use a gentle washing. This would be beautiful in any cottage chic, French country, Americana, Farm House or shabby chic decor. It would be nice over a banister, an old wicker chair, or on a bed . Measurements are about 89" by 78".
