HIS IS A BEAUTIFUL OLD ANTIQUE OIL PAINTING OF RED ROSES THAT ARE IN A GLASS BOWL. This is an older painting that is painted on canvas that is nailed to the wood stretcher frame. The roses are in a glass bowl and lying down in a classic Sunday afternoon Victorian era painting. There is paint loss, chippy paint, a couple almost holes, minor paint crackling, scratches along the sides where it was removed from a frame and wear, as I show. It is signed what looks like M. Varney The artist put a shiny coat over the painting to protect it This would be stunning in any shabby chic, romantic cottage, Farm House or French Country home. Measurements are about 20" by 10"
