THIS IS AN EXQUISITE OLD VINTAGE ITALIAN CARVED GILT WOOD FRAGMENT IN THE SHAPE OF A BOW. This is older and of very good quality. This is a nice large wood carved fragment that would make a statement in your home. It is a large romantic bow with tassels at the ends and an ornate medallion at the center. It has the original gold paint that is chippy, with color variation, with paint loss, scratches, minor dirt and wear. PLEASE NOTE THERE IS A REPAIR TO THE BACK AT THE END OF ONE OF THE TASSELS, AS I SHOW WITH A METAL PLATE AND TWO SCREWS. There are some minor hairline surface cracks, but it is solid. Perfect in your shabby chic, French country or romantic cottage decor. Measurements are about 20" long by 10" tall and 3" thick. It weighs about 2 pounds.
