EXQUISITE Old Vintage French FRAME Incredibly Ornate Barbola Gesso with Pressed Flowers

THIS IS AN EXQUISITE OLD VINTAGE FRENCH FRAME THAT HAS INCREDIBLY ORNATE BARBOLA GESSO DETAILING WITH PRESSED FLOWERS IN THE FRAME. This is older and of very good quality. The frame is wood with very ornate barbola gesso detailing in all four corners and all around. It has some of the most gorgeous details that I have seen in a frame in a long time. It has an oval opening. It has the original gold paint that is chippy, with color variation, with paint loss, scratches, minor dirt and wear. There are some minor hairline surface cracks, but it is solid. There is a little piece of missing gesso on the left side of the frame at the middle, as I show. In the frame and behind glass are dried press flowers. The back of the frame has a label that says they are , cosmo, Coreopsis lobelia and Hoseleek from NY. It has a hanger on the back. Sorry for the glass glare. Perfect in your shabby chic, French country or romantic cottage decor. Measurements are about 13" by 11" for the frame. The opening is about 6 1/2" by 8 1/2". It weighs about 2 pounds.
