THIS IS JUST EXQUISITE AND IS THE BEST ANTIQUE BOUDOIR BED DOLL THAT I HAVE SEEN THAT IS ALL ORIGINAL. This is so hard to let go of, and I hope I don't regret it. This is of excellent quality and an older French doll from the 1920's. She has a cloth head and long skinny cloth body. Her face is beautiful that is hand painted. She has the upper fake eyelashes, that are very rare on the boudoir dolls. Her blond hair or wig is not removable and is braided and coiled on the sides. She is wearing the original black satin or taffeta dress that is very well made with gorgeous wide gold metallic lace and with borders of pink ribbon roses trim. Some of the roses are smashed. There is fraying and wear. There are a few minor tears and holes on the dress, as I show in my close ups, including on the top of her sleeves. There are minor tears to her socks, and no shoes. Don't let this special doll get away! She would look stunning on your bed or sitting in a chair in your home. Perfect in any shabby chic, romantic cottage, garden room, French country or Beach cottage decor Measurements are about 30" long.
