THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST GORGEOUS OLD PHOTO ALBUM'S I'VE SEEN IN A LONG TIME. IT IS WHITE CELLULOID WITH PHOTOS INSIDE. What a great find! I love the size of this 16" tall album! The front cover is celluloid with thick embossed roses and the word ALBUM in a nice design. It is a creamy white. There are some scratches, scrapes, minor discoloration and wear. There are some minor cracks or tiny bits of missing celluloid in the corners. The side and back of the album is fabric. The front cover has brown tape that was added nicely to keep the cover and album intact. The metal back part of the claspe is missing. Inside, there are 16 photographs or cabinet cards. Many of the pages are empty. The thick pages have a pretty design with petite pink flowers and good stems and leaves. There are some tears to some of the pages. Perfect anywhere in your home with any shabby chic, French country, Jeanne d'Arc Living, or romantic cottage decor. Measurements are about 16" tall by 7 1/4? by 2 3/4" thick. It weighs about 5 1/2 pounds.
