THIS IS AN EXQUISITE OLD VINTAGE WALL FRAME WITH A BARBOLA GESSO DETAILS ALL AROUND AND THE ORIGINAL GOLD PAINT. This is such a nice large size wall frame. It is older and of good quality. The frame is wood with gesso. It is very ornate with lots of gorgeous detailing all around, including flowers. The frame has the original gold paint that is chippy, with color variation, with paint loss, scratches and wear. There is a slight separation at the mitered corner, as I show. There are some minor hairline surface cracks but it is solid. There is a little missing gesso, as I show. It can be displayed vertically or horizontally. Perfect to hang with nothing in it, or to add a mirror. Perfect in your shabby chic, French country or romantic cottage decor. Measurements are about 27 " by 22". The opening is about 15 1/4" by 20" It weighs about 7 pounds.
