THIS IS A GORGEOUS OLD VINTAGE PORTRAIT OIL PAINTING THAT IS OF A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN WEARING A BLUE JACKET OVER A WHITE TOP, SIGNED AND DATED 1945 AND FRAMED IN THE ORIGINAL FRAME. This is very well painted Mid Century painting of good quality. It is painted on a canvas that is nailed to a wood stretcher frame. The woman has a beautiful face. She has brown hair and brown eyes with red lipstick. She is wearing a white top with blue jacket over that. The colors are absolutely gorgeous. It is signed at the bottom, F. A. Stout and dated 1945. There is a little paint loss, some minor scratches, and minor wear. There is a tiny pin size slight indentation at the top which is hard to notice. It is framed in the original wood frame with chippy paint and minor scratches. This would be stunning in any shabby chic, mid century, romantic cottage or French Country home. Measurements are about 16" by 20" for the painting. The frame is about 21" by 25". It weighs about 4 1/2 pounds.
