THIS IS AN EXQUISITE OLD ANTIQUE FLORAL OIL PAINTING OF GORGEOUS HOLLYHOCKS ON ONE SIDE AND A SCENERY PAINTING ON THE BACK. This is an older oil painting of good quality that is painted on board or academy board. There are paintings on both side. The front has the most beautiful hollyhocks in pink, cranberry, white and butter. It is well painted and the colors are gorgeous. There are some creases in the corners, and you can see along the edges where it was removed from a frame. There are no signatures or dates. The back has a circle with a stunning country scene painted in the circle and leaves on the outside. There is paint loss, chippy paint and paper loss. This would be stunning alone or on a wall of old floral paintings in any shabby chic, romantic cottage, Farm House or French Country home. Measurements are about 27 1/2" by 15 1/2".
