THIS IS AN AWESOME OLD ARCHITECTURAL WALL SHELF WITH THE ORIGINAL PAINT AND A GREAT PATINA I love to add a touch of architectural interest to a room or to "age" a newer home. And with a shelf like this, you also get a place to set up a vignette. This is a nice length of about 45" long and has a nice 8" wide shelf to set up a very nice display in your home. This is an older wall shelf that is made with wood with amazing detailing. It has a very ornate header at the top and the nice dental detailing across the bottom It has the original white and cream paint that is chippy, peely, crackly, with paint loss, minor dirt and time worn for the amazing patina. There are a couple old cracks, as I show, and some brackets at the back to help keep it solid. There are old nail holes to add to the charm. My husband added hangers to the back. This would add an amazing architectural touch to any room of your home and be so much fun to fill the shelf with a few of your favorite items. Perfect anywhere in your home in your shabby chic, French country, Paris Apt or romantic cottage décor. Measurements are about 45" long by about 19" tall and 8" deep for the shelf. It weighs about 16 pounds.
