THIS IS ABSOLUTELY EXQUISITE. IT IS A DATED 1878 FRENCH WAX BRIDAL CROWN AND BOUTONNIERE PRESERVED IN THE ORIGINAL MEMORY SHADOW BOX. What an amazing find. My pictures are not doing this beauty justice! This was well cared for and is in good condition for its age. It is a brides gorgeous memory box for her wedding day. There is her French wax bridal crown that is made with wax and fabric flowers and leaves. It is so full and just breathtaking. Also in the box is the grooms boutonniere. It has their names hand written in gold, but I can't make out the names and the date with the year 1878. There is a little picture with two hands in a handshake. There are beautiful gold trim accents all around. There are minor stains and wear. The shadow box is wood with the original black and gold paint that is a little chippy and time worn. It is covered with glass. There is tape at the back, as I show to help enforce it firmly in place and a hanger. Measurements are about 16 1/4" by 13 1/2" by 4". It weighs about 5 pounds.
