RGEOUS ROSES THAT IS PAINTED ON CANVAS. I have had this painting for a long time, but after some decorating and moving things around, regrettably, I don't have a spot for it. This is an older oil painting that is painted on canvas that is nailed to a stretched frame that is well painted. This is a Sunday afternoon painting from the Victorian era. The colors are beautiful. The pink roses are breathtaking. It is a little on the shabby side, which I love in the old paintings. There is some paint loss, a few tears with repairs or little holes, as I show,paint crackling and wear. It is signed, but I can't make out the signature and dated what looks like 1906. This would be stunning alone or on a wall of old rose paintings in any shabby chic, romantic cottage, Farm House or French Country home. Measurements are about 24" by 14". It weighs about one pound.
