THIS IS AN EXQUISITE OLD VINTAGE FRENCH ORMOLU VANITY JEWELRY CASKET STAND THAT IS FOOTED AND WITH TWO PERFUME BOTTLE HOLDERS AND A BEVELED OVAL MIRROR. This is an older piece of good quality. The round box is footed with three little feet. It has delicate etching on the glass and the glass lid that opens up is beveled. At the center bottom is a little flower. There are two holders on the sides, which was probably for perfume. At the top is a little beveled oval mirror in an ornate frame with beading all around. At the top is the face of a gorgeous woman with flowers. There is a little streaking, ghosting, silver loss and scratches, for a desirable look. When you open the lid, the inside fabric covering at the bottom is all tattered, torn and missing fabric, as I show. Also, at the back, wrapped around one of the metal pieces is a little metal leave and wire stem that probably broke off at one time and is thereat the back. The perfume holders are not perfectly straight and the lid it not perfectly even. Perfect in your shabby chic, French country, Jeanne d'Arc Living or romantic cottage decor.
