THIS IS SUCH A COOL FIND! IT IS AN OLD SPECIAL PRIZE AWARD RIBBON WITH A CHICKEN OR HEN THAT WAS AWARDED FOR THE BEST SHAPED MALE. The gold colored ribbon is satin with the hanging button that is pat. Aug. 9, 1899 on the back with the faded chicken inside the metal frame. I was told that this was attached to a trophy. It says Awarded by the American Buff Leghorn Club for the Best Shaped Male. There is minor dirt, minor stains, creases, and wear. Measurements are about 8" by 2".
