THIS IS AN AMAZING OLD VINTAGE SALVAGED ARCHITECTURAL NEWEL POST, OR COLUMN WITH FABULOUS DETAILING AND THE BEST PATINA.. This is an older salvaged newel post. I wish I had a spot for this one. This is an awesome statement making size of 38" tall. I love the fat finial top. It has the original paint that is chippy, with paint loss, some stains, crackly paint, minor dirt, and time worn for an awesome patina. There are some old cracks, but it is solid. It has the one side where you can see it was cut from the banister. This would add a nice architectural touch to any room of your home. Perfect anywhere in your home in your shabby chic, French country, Farm House, Paris Apt or romantic cottage decor. Measurements are about 38" tall by 6" wide.
